ABOUT US
Since its founding, SADAF has been a vibrant forum for discussing core philosophical issues in epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language, ethics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, and related fields.

Our mission is to foster the exchange of ideas through seminars, conferences, publications, and academic initiatives, all reflecting the highest standards of philosophical inquiry and argumentation. SADAF offers an open and pluralistic space for researchers, teachers, students, and anyone interested in analytic philosophy, fostering encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and critical thinking.

Key activities include regular meetings, specialized research groups, our biennial Colloquium, and the prestigious Juan Rodríguez Larreta Lectures. For over four decades, we have proudly published Análisis Filosófico, a leading Spanish-language journal in analytic philosophy.
Since 1978, SADAF has also been home to the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas (IIF), an institute dedicated to philosophical research, which coordinates research projects undertaken by carried out by our members. In 2017, the IIF achieved the status of a CONICET Executive Unit, encompassing all research activity at SADAF, including fellows and researchers affiliated with CONICET and other scientific funding institutions.

SADAF is committed to academic excellence and to promoting philosophical analysis as a crucial tool for understanding and addressing contemporary intellectual challenges. We warmly invite philosophers and the broader public to join our events and become part of our dynamic community of critical reflection and scholarly collaboration

SADAF Press
Editorial SADAF is our publishing initiative, aimed at providing the philosophical community with a new platform for publishing high-quality academic books in areas such as metaphysics, philosophy of language, mind, epistemology, science, ethics, aesthetics, and political philosophy. This initiative responds to the lack of publishing opportunities in analytic philosophy, despite a growing body of scholarly work in the field.

We publish four series:

● Originals: individual research works, including adapted doctoral theses
● Collections: thematic volumes from research teams or academic events
● Translations: Spanish editions of influential analytic philosophy texts
● Teaching Materials: pedagogical and outreach texts for courses and seminars

Our readership includes academics and advanced philosophy students.
