SADAF is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to promote philosophical research within a pluralistic academic environment, encouraging intellectual exchanges and rational discussions.
Our activities started in 1972, and we currently have more than two hundred members. We are located in Bulnes 642, City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The venue has several rooms where seminars, talks and other kinds of academic meetings are held. The Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas (Institute for Philosophical Research) includes several researchers and fellows of the National Research Council (CONICET). It was also the environment that hosted the winners of the "Alchourrón" (2008-9) and "Orayen" (2010-11) scholarships.
The IIF also hosts several research projects, financed by CONICET and ANPCyT. Since 2012 it has been recognized as an Associated Unit by the National Research Council (CONICET). We publish the journal Análisis Filosófico since 1981. The online version can be downloaded here. Análisis Filosófico belongs to the core of scientific journals CAYCyT since 2007. It is indexed at SciELO Argentina, ERIH PLUS (European Reference Index for the Humanities), REDALyC, EBSCOhost The Philosopher's Index, Latindex Catálogo, CIRC (Clasificación Integrada de Revistas Cientificas), Philpapers and Dialnet.
